READ-A-THON - Spring 2017

April 12th to May 12th

Read-a-Thon is one of the ways we do so much at IQRA' - raise money and have fun reading at the same time! Ask your friends, family, neighbors, co-workers - anyone - to pledge your kid to read.   Students are encouraged to read a variety of books, sample some new authors, and stretch their literary potential. Along the way there will be BINGO cards to play and prizes for participation. In addition to being fun, our Read A Thon is also a fundraiser where kids ask grandparents and neighbors to sponsor them for minutes read.

What’s this all about? Well, we love reading and we want to celebrate that the world belongs to those who read. But more pragmatically, the Read-A-Thon is our effort to build our library. You can help by collecting and donating any books you can get your hands on to The Academy. What better honor can you give a book than by making it available to future generations?
